Capital Cat Fanciers, Inc., is a Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) affiliated local club in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  Our members come from Winchester, VA to Baltimore, MD, from Capitol Hill in the District, to Clarksburg, MD and Norfolk, VA.  Our common bonds of breeding, exhibiting, and simply enjoying our feline friends brig us together for regular monthly meetings.

Members of our club breed, show, and exhibit some of the finest examples of pedigreed and national winning cats in the country, including breeds such as the Siamese, Norwegian Forest Cat, Persian, Colorpoint Shorthair, Turkish Van, Burmese, Devon Rex, Selkirk Rex, Maine Coon, American Shorthair, Egyptian Mau, Scottish Fold, and many others.  In addition, many members also have household pets (non-pedigreed), including several of which are rescues.

One of Capital Cat Fanciers most important activities is hosting and producing Cat Shows every year in the Washington, DC area.  Proceeds from these shows provide significant financial support to national feline health research programs, and no-kill shelter programs for rescued cats in the area.
